Our community is heartbroken to share that Zach, owner of Thurston Auto, has lost his shop to a devastating fire.

For a small business, insurance rarely covers everything. It takes time, money, and emotional strength to start again, all while trying to keep hope alive and continue serving customers who’ve become like family. The road ahead is long, but with community support, Zach can rebuild and come back stronger than ever.

In just moments, everything he worked so hard to build — years of dedication, late nights, and sacrifices — was gone. Zach has always been someone who gives back, supports others, and pours his heart into this community. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him the way he’s always shown up for us.

The fire destroyed everything it took to run his operation, all of his equipment and supplies and the entire shop he works out of, leaving him to start completely from scratch. With the help of friends, neighbors, and our community, we can help him bring Thurston Auto back to life.
