Business Owner Seeks Community Support and Media Attention Following Total Loss
Jonesboro, GA – 5-2-25 – A devastating fire has resulted in the total loss of a local small business, Three Five Smoke Shop, located at 8478 Hwy 85 in Jonesboro, Georgia. The fire occurred on 5-2-25 causing complete destruction to the store and everything inside.
Three Five Smoke Shop, a Black woman-owned business known for serving the Jonesboro community with a range of smoking and lifestyle products, was completely engulfed in flames, leaving the owner and staff without a source of income or place of work.
“This is more than a business – it’s been a dream and a safe space for our community,” said Genese Chrispin, owner of Three Five Smoke Shop. “The loss is heartbreaking, but we’re determined to rebuild with the help and support of those around us.”
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by local authorities. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported. However, the financial and emotional toll has been significant.
The business owner is seeking media coverage to raise awareness and rally community support in the aftermath of the tragedy. Plans for a fundraiser and community rebuilding initiative are underway.
