Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

On September 19th, 2024, our beloved son & daughter-in-law / grandkids experienced a devastating house fire that has left them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but they are facing immense challenges ahead, including medical needs and the long road to recovery.

The fire destroyed their home and most of their possessions, leaving them in urgent need of support. They had literally jut moved into the home within the last month or so. Our son, Andrew, has served in the US Navy for the last 17 years, and they had just moved here for his final tour before retiring. This was to be their "forever home".

In addition to the loss of their home, our daughter-in-law Julia has sustained 2nd & 3rd degree burns over 28% of her body, and will require skin graph surgery and rehabilitation / ongoing care. The grandchildren (ages 12, 8, & 5) escaped unharmed, but are devastated and confused having lost everything they have ever known.
