Help Sustain the MAX of Montclair
My name is Jamie Lynn France- many of you may know me as Jamie Lynn MAX. I have been the manager at the MAX of Montclair for the last 4 years. Unfortunately, the MAX of Montclair was severely impacted by Hurricane Ida and I am running a fundraiser on behalf of Toby.
As a small business owner, with a big heart, Toby has worked hard to keep her doors open for her members and employees during the pandemic. When businesses continued to close, even ones within the MAX company, Toby forged ahead finding new ways to keep her clients engaged, safe and happy. The MAX of Montclair has provided so many with a safe haven over the last year. In fact, many members continue to tell Toby they don't know how they would have made It through the last year without the MAX of Montclair. Making It through this pandemic is/was no small feat.
But on the eve of September 1st, when most of NJ was home bracing from Storm Ida, The MAX of Montclair took on a massive flooding. Toby flew home from vacation to the devastating damage. Toby is busy behind the scenes figuring out next steps for the business, so I wanted to create this fundraiser on her behalf.
Many of us know Toby's giving heart. She has "saved" so many people in the Montclair community over the last 6 years- now It's our time to save her. She is a driven business women, tirelessly working for her members, employees, and family. For someone who gives the community so much, I hope we can repay her tenfold, to make her burden less to bear.
While the full extent is currently unknown, we do know that any assistance for income loss, property damage not covered by insurance, and incidental spending will be great. For a woman who has kept the MAX alive for the last 6 years, It's our turn to keep this community alive.
Toby is pursuing customer excellence and continues to offer exercise and fitness support through virtual classes, but she needs a bridge to help recover during the next 4-6 weeks.
On Toby's behalf, I know she is so appreciative of everyone reaching out looking for way's to help. Unfortunately, It is not safe to be on site right now. So I thought for anyone looking to help, this is the best way.
