Help rebuild the Kadi’s home

a month ago there was a fire at Kadi’s House .
The damage was severe , what wasn’t destroyed by fire was destroyed by firefighters water and intervention.
Currently the house is unlivable, no electricity , no a/c , walls burned or blacked by smoke; the furniture and appliances severely damaged .
the insurance company denied their claim for some technicality we are fighting them.
The head of the household Kamel is over 70 yrs old, suffering from dementia and living on fixed income ( social security ) with his wife and 4 children all under 15 yrs old.

Who are you ?
My name is Adel khechana, an Algerian American living and working in Houston, Texas , a husband and father of 2 little girls. I’ve known the kadis family for 8 yrs. been to his house and he visited my home and my family .
When the incident happened I was contacted by other friends and together we are managing the funds and the repairs to the kadis house . We actively managing the whole process as Brother k***** is in early stages of dementia and cannot handle the process .
So far we paid for 2 months of rent and paid $3k to the contractor. We still a long way from our target of $30k but we’re moving steadily toward repairing the house. Hopefully this month we get their house to a point where they can move back .
Receipts will be shared with everyone and full transparency throughout the whole process.
Please keep your generous help and together we can get the kadis back to their house .
