The House of Donuts has been a neighborhood staple since 1971. The owner came to this country in 1977 and, at 17, started as a donut maker. Through hard work and dedication, he became the owner—still making donuts every morning with his son. His wife is the heart of the shop—welcoming customers by name, remembering their usual, pouring coffee with a smile, and making everyone who walks in feel like family. If you know The House of Donuts, you know Nick and Maria.
On October 8, 2025, a fire broke out in a neighboring store and spread into their shop. The fire and water damage forced them to close. The family is heartbroken, but determined to rebuild so they can continue serving the community that has supported them for over five decades.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help cover urgent cleanup and repair costs so they can reopen The House of Donuts. If donating isn’t possible, a share helps more than you know. Thank you for any support you can give.
