Help Rebuild the home to Quigley Custom Carpentry: The Shop
Donation protected
We all have special places where deep, meaningful memories were made. This is what’s left of one of those special places. A fire destroyed Quigley Custom Carpentry's base of operations: The Shop. A place where creativity and skillful execution of mastery in carpentry skill has created installations cherished by many. This was more than a business; it was a place of refuge from the world, a place where friends gathered, skilled artisans collaborated, and most importantly, where a father and son worked side by side to build together, learn together, and make memories together. Over the years, countless families' homes and businesses have been enhanced by the amazing projects that were built in this humble shop. Installations that make homes special, unique, beautiful, and custom. But this shop was more than carpentry, more than tools, more than machines. It was home to learning, collaborating, honing skills, and making memories.
Tragically, all that is left are those memories. Ownership of the property had recently changed hands to save it from reverse mortage foreclosure. Due to complications in that transaction, the insurance lapsed at the worst possible time. The building, tools, machines, and personal items are all a complete loss.
We are reaching out to ask for help in rebuilding. Many of us have benefited from the beauty of the projects that have been made possible in The Shop. Many of us have fond memories of working there. These words fail to convey the importance of this place for friends, family, skilled artisans, and most importantly, for the father and son that had their own special place to work, play, laugh, and grow together.
We are asking for your help to rebuild a special place to build together again…
