In the late night hours of April 6th, 2025, tragedy struck two of our most beloved community leaders in Tracy, California. Drs. Louis and Demeda Smith, faithful servants and founders of a local food pantry, lost their home to a devastating fire. Though we praise God that they are safe, their home—and nearly everything in it—was completely destroyed.

For years, the Smiths have opened their arms and hearts to the Tracy community. Whether feeding families in need, praying with the brokenhearted, or mentoring the next generation, they have poured out love without hesitation. Now, it’s our turn to pour back into them.

This fund is to help them rebuild what was lost—starting with the essentials of housing, clothing, furniture, and daily necessities. Every dollar brings hope, comfort, and restoration to two people who have given so much to others.

Let’s come together in faith and generosity to remind Drs. Louis and Demeda Smith that they are not alone. We are the Church. We are their community. We will stand with them in this storm.
