The Hagen family home is one of the
homes lost in the CZU Santa Cruz lightning complex fire in Northern California (Brookdale, CA).

This has been our home for 20 years.

We would like to thank everyone who has visited this page and / or expressed their condolences. We are grateful to you all and we are completely overwhelmed with the love and support we have been shown. Jimmy, Becca, Cristina and Taylor send out love to
you all!

The history of our home:

The home was nestled in a old growth redwood grove. Most of the homes were built in the late 1800’s. This area was
historically an old logging camp. This unique home was called the cooks house for the logger campsite.
Our house was famous with our friends, as it had 68 stairs to the front door. To come up the stairs was quite a
climb, but this lead to amazing views of our forest community with the sound of the Brookdale lodge creek roaring, in the
background. It was built on a 90-degree granite hillside. Surrounded by redwoods, ferns and a natural forest ,wildlife community.

It's been a true joy to call our Brookdale treehouse a home for just over 20 years. We have raised our two children here and have
enjoyed our two fur baby Pomeranians.

We are hoping to get assistance for funding the beginning process of the rebuild, prior to receiving the insurance compensation.
As well as funding the expected shortfall, on the insurance coverage.
