On May 31, while my sister Cindy Favors was at the hospital with her husband, Patrick, who had shoulder surgery yesterday, May 30th, she received a call from a neighbor informing her that her house was on fire.
Tragically, Cindy and Patrick lost everything in their house except a safe and a few other documents. With no home insurance, they face the uncertainty of how to rebuild their lives.
While this GoFundMe is not enough to cover the cost of a new home, we hope the funds donated will help them navigate the first steps of rebuilding their lives following this devastating fire and during this difficult time of recovery for Patrick.
