Help rebuild CobosFuentes family home from fire

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am here in the hopes of helping my sweet mom, Maria. Yesterday, July 3rd, 2023, was a horrible day. My mother lost her home of 30+ years to a devastating house fire. It was in this home that she raised her four kids, provided a safe place for friends and family, and has watched her grandchildren grow up and thrive. Many in the community know her for her acts of kindness and selfless giving. She has always opened her doors with a warm heart, offering any who need it a warm meal and a place to stay.

Now, my mother has lost her safe haven. Maria has always been someone who thought of others above herself. Even in this moment, she would say that there are those who require help more than she does. So, on behalf of her, I am reaching out to the community for help.

In addition to her house being destroyed, her car - her only mode of transportation to-and-from work - caught fire and requires immediate repairs.

Maria has a long journey ahead of her, but I am hoping with the selfless support of others, she will soon be able to return to providing and caring for any and all who need help most.
