Hello everyone, my name is Jenna Glahn, Susan Glahn’s daughter. We live in Southbury and we were greatly affected by the flood earlier this week. We live across the street from a river and our entire lower level (where I live) was destroyed. There was almost 4 feet of water in the entire space. My family and I initially offered to start a go fund me for her to assist with everything but she declined because she was under the impression that insurance would help and that others could benefit more from a go fund me. Unfortunately, insurance won’t cover what we were told it would. Almost everything was lost/destroyed. Since I was living down there, I lost most of my personal belongings (my bed, clothing etc.) My mom is an amazing person and doesn’t deserve this whatsoever. We’re asking for help so we can try and rebuild what we can… anything is greatly appreciated.
