My studio at South River suffered smoke and water damage from the fire that took place on November 12th. This comes at a time when I had just started back to work on a contract job after having to take a leave of absence for several months due to a major death in my family and health concerns. I do not like asking for help - but this has come at a difficult transitional time. I do not have insurance and am currently in the process of going through all my equipment to figure out the full severity of the damage. Right now I already have several smaller computers and tech equipment for my work that will have to be scraped and I've lost one major project that I've been working on for the past year.

Right now I am asking for $5,000 to help offset costs from wages lost during this time, help paying for rent and a deposit for a new space and to help with replacing equipment that's been lost.

Any help is appreciated and this is a devastating loss for the arts community in Atlanta. South River is home to an amazing community of artists and is run by two of the most amazing people you'll ever meet. Words cannot fully describe what was lost today.
