We are Steven & Tara Thompson, the 30-year owners of 3201 Dawson in Pittsburgh's S. Oakland neighborhood. On April 27th, 2025, our home was destroyed by fire and we have lost everything. We are now asking for help from our neighbors far and wide in assisting with the rebuilding and total restoration of our home that has been the cornerstone of our beautiful neighborhood for 130 years.

We are a family that includes an adult son who is on the autistic spectrum and a grandson who will graduate high school in 2026 along with our loving Terrier dog. All while Tara recovers from recent brain surgery and Steven maintains the family's small cleaning business. We thank everyone who has already helped and contributed to our family and thank everyone in advance who does so after reading this post.
