My name is Cleve Minto and I was born and raised in the beautiful hills of St. James, Jamaica —my beloved Jamaica faces devastating loss after the recent hurricane. Homes, schools, clinics, and entire communities in St. James — including Amity Hall, Lottery, Guilsboro, Latium, and nearby districts — have been severely impacted.

These are the places that shaped me, where my family and friends still live, and where my heart will always belong.

I am calling on my community here in Oakland and beyond to stand with Jamaica during this urgent time of need.

All donations will go directly toward assisting families and rebuilding critical community areas such as Homes, Schools (primarily Lottery District Basic & Primary), Clinics and Local residents in crisis.
