Hi, my name is Nae, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to help the people of St Elizabeth, Jamaica who have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa.

As someone with strong family roots and deep love for St E as it is home away from home, seeing the devastation this storm has caused has been heartbreaking. Many of us feel helpless and want to help! I am based in North London have set up a local drop off point for donations.

Entire communities have lost homes, power, and access to basic essentials. Families are struggling to rebuild from nothing, and immediate support is needed for food, shelter, and vital supplies.

All funds raised will be spent on purchasing barrels, storage of donations and a 20ft shipping container and its associated shipping fees and delivery to the affected areas, supporting local relief teams, and helping families get back on their feet. I will be personally delivering this & ensuring this reached the people who need it most!

I will be purchasing and shipping this container to St Elizabeth and distributing using local distribution points. (I will share locations when appropriate to ensure safety). I will then coordinate from St Elizabeth to other Western Parishes where I have organised distribution points for pop ups.
