St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, was badly damaged by Hurricane Melissa. My name is Rushell and I’m from the community of Hounslow in the parish of St Elizabeth. Hounslow and its neighboring community; Bethany was severely damaged by the category 5 hurricane Mellissa. This disaster left my hometown and the people in ruins and devastation. St Elizabeth is completely destroyed by the category 5 hurricane that brought over 200 mph winds and flooding that completely demolished buildings and submerged whole neighborhood.

Families, including children and elderly are without homes, clothes, and food and will be for week maybe months to come, this area is in one of the most rural parts of the island. Please support the fund and let’s help the people of Hounslow and Bethany get back on their feet and back in their homes and church.
