I am starting this fundraiser as both a close friend and a long-time professional educator of Cheryl Pomposelli and her team at Spa Jada.

Many people in Kemptville, ON, surrounding area and throughout the spa community know and love Cheryl, the owner of Spa Jada. She is more than a business owner, she is a trusted professional, a mentor, a generous supporter of others, and a true pillar in our community.

On Mother's Day weekend tragedy struck when a fire broke out in the spa overnight and caused extensive damage to the spa.

For Cheryl, this business represents years of hard work, dedication, and heart. It is her passion, her livelihood, and a place where countless clients have felt welcomed, cared for, and restored.

In the midst of this devastating loss, one of her first concerns has been for her team. She has expressed her wish to use a portion of the funds raised to help support the employees who have suddenly lost income while the spa is closed.

I have had the privilege of working closely with Cheryl through my role with Eminence Organic Skin Care, and I have also come to know her as a dear friend. She is one of the most hardworking, compassionate, and selfless people I know. She has spent years uplifting others, both personally and professionally.

Now it is our turn to support her and the team she cares so deeply about.

Funds raised will help with:

• Insurance deductibles and restoration costs

• Replacing damaged equipment, supplies, and retail inventory

• Supporting team members who have lost income during the closure

• Helping the spa reopen as quickly as possible
