Help Rebuild Sonic Six Studios - Destroyed by Ida

Hi, we are raising funds to support Brooklyn Based Sonic Six Studios. Like many others in NYC, studio owner and recording engineer Jeff Knutsen was caught off guard when flash floods from Ida resulted in his entire street being flooded (due to clogged storm drains on his street) sending water pouring through the front door and down into his basement studio.

In just half an hour Jeff witnessed his entire recording space drowned in water, rising above 4 feet. While he tried to save some pieces of equipment, much of the studio that he has spent years building has been lost to water damage. Jeff, family and friends are working on pumping their way out of the situation and will, in time, discover the full extent of the damage done to the studio and the building. However it is clear that there is significant loss in equipment as well as costs associated with replacing drywall and floors throughout.
