My name is Ricardo Foster and I am setting out to raise money for the Slipe community in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. This community is one of many that have been severely affected by Hurricane Melissa. Many people are without food, safe shelters, electricity, clean drinking water, and the simple necessities they need to survive. As this is the place that I was born and raised in, it hurts to see so many of my family members and friends in desperate need for help. For those that are able to donate, your efforts will be greatly appreciated by not only me, but the Jamaican civilians that have been afflicted by this natural disaster. Whenever it becomes safe to travel to Jamaica, I am planning on flying back home to Slipe to provide relief and a helping hand to those that have been struggling. While I am there, I will personally utilize any fundraiser money that has been collected to give as many members of the community an opportunity to continue rebuilding their lives.
