I am Rose Ann Navarro, the daughter of Roger and Vangie Navarro. My parent are the proud owners of RVN Deli Kitchen, a cherished restaurant that has been a cornerstone of the Lahaina and Maui communities for the past 22 years. My father's culinary journey started with his unwavering passion for cooking. Having dedicated numerous years as a cook at esteemed establishments like Marriott and Westin, he eventually embarked on a path to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant. His commitment and diligence have been remarkable, and he has become an integral part of countless gatherings and celebrations in Lahaina and beyond.
Known for his tireless work ethic, positive demeanor, approachable nature, and boundless generosity, my dad has tirelessly contributed to our community since his arrival from the Philippines. He has not only provided for our family but has also supported his siblings and their families back home, displaying his selfless character time and again.
He is the hardest working man I know that wouldn’t think twice about giving his shirt off his back if you needed it. My dad is a very SELFLESS man, he looks out for others before he does himself.
On august 8th our world changed in a matter of hours, when a devastating fire engulfed Lahaina, taking away everything we held dear – heartbreakingly, my parents cherished restaurant. The dream my parents tirelessly pursued has been reduced to ashes.
We are faced with an immense loss, one that has left us heartbroken and devastated. In this trying time, we humbly request your support.
