Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Souls,

My name is Prescilla Segundo, founder of Nature’s Retreat House, formerly a non-profit organization Nature's Healing Home, a healing sanctuary located on top of a mountain in San Fernando City, La Union.

This sacred space was born out of my own journey of survival and healing after a near-fatal car accident. Nature’s Retreat House became a refuge for others—to rest, reconnect with nature, and heal emotionally, physically, and spiritually. It’s a space where the heart and land meet. I’ve poured my full heart and finances into this healing sanctuary for the last 12 years so I can share it with others. Now, it is deeply devastated by the strongest typhoon in this region.

Over 75% of the retreat center has been destroyed, including:

The healing cottages

The dining and kitchen area

Our beloved fruit trees and farm structures

This land has held ceremonies, plant-based meals, meditations, and countless stories of personal transformation. The loss is not just material—it’s deeply spiritual.

Yet I believe that healing begins in the heart—and that together, we can rebuild.
