El Nuevo Pollo Sabroso burned to the Ground!

A cold morning everyone was surprised to see so much smoke coming out of the building of St. Lawrence Ave. The fire was spreading from the 99cent store and continued to burn through the deli next door and reached the restaurant.  As the Firefighters were doing all they could, a whole section of Westchester Avenue caught fire! Thankfully, no one was hurt and only the infrastructure was damaged.  This family owned small business has been in the community for over 20 years! Always serving the community in different ways, handing out Turkeys for Thanksgiving, as well as meals to the homeless and those who do not have enough to eat. Insurance saw this and only wants to give twenty percent of damages!  The workers all circled together in tears as we all watched the business come down. I, Angelo, made this fundraiser to help rebuild for the community and my family to try and continue the business we provided as well as serving those in need of a meal.  Also, I personally will handle the funds to make sure it is used properly.
