Pear Tree Grove Primary School, located in Richmond Hill District, Pear Tree Grove P.O, St Catherine, Jamaica, is facing some serious challenges. The school building has suffered damage over the years, and the roof is in urgent need of repair. In addition, the students are in need of new desks, and the road leading to the school has become difficult to travel, making it even harder for children to attend classes safely. The community has reached out for help, hoping to restore the school and create a better environment for the children who rely on it for their education and future.

As a past student of Pear Tree Grove Primary School and someone who lived in this community for many years, I feel a deep connection to the people and the place that shaped me. Although I migrated nearly 14 years ago, my heart remains with the school and the families who continue to call Richmond Hill District home. The need is urgent, and every bit of support will go directly toward repairing the school building, buying new desks for the students, and fixing the road so children can get to school safely.
