Help Rebuild Pat's Life After Devastating Fire
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
My heart is heavy as I write this, but I am reaching out for help in the wake of a devastating fire that destroyed my Dad's building. As many of you already know in Des Moines, a structure fire swept through the property and destroyed everything in its path. Though no one was hurt in the fire, his dog is unaccounted for.
As you can imagine, my dad is now facing the daunting task of picking up the pieces and starting from scratch. He is devastated, not only by the loss of his physical possessions but also by the emotional toll of losing a place that he called home and business for years. As his daughter, I feel helpless seeing him go through this, and I am asking for your help.
We are trying to raise funds to help my dad rebuild his life. Although he has limited insurance coverage, this is nowhere near enough to cover his losses. We are hoping to help with the costs of living, buying new equipment, supplies, materials, and basic needs like clothing to help get his life back on track. Any amount that you can give would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping my dad get back on his feet.
