Today has been incredibly difficult. Our parents’ house caught fire, and while we are so grateful they are safe, the damage means they are displaced and won’t be able to move back until their little old home is rebuilt. The interior is completely destroyed.

Along with our parents, our brother and two young nephews were also displaced and lost many of their belongings. We are working with insurance, but as you can imagine, much was lost and needs to be replaced right away.

Our parents have worked so hard all their lives and are truly deserving of the love and support being offered to them. Because so many of our loved ones have reached out asking how they can help, we decided to open this outlet for those who wish to contribute. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden as they begin to recover and rebuild.

Hoy ha sido un día increíblemente difícil. La casa de nuestros papás se incendió y, aunque gracias a Diosito ellos están bien, los daños significan que están desalojados y no podrán regresar a vivir ahí hasta que su casita antigua sea reconstruida. El interior quedó completamente destruido.

Junto con nuestros padres, nuestro hermano y dos sobrinitos también quedaron desalojados y perdieron muchas de sus pertenencias. Estamos trabajando con el seguro, pero como se imaginarán, se perdió mucho y hay cosas que necesitan reemplazarse de inmediato.

Nuestros papás han trabajado muy duro toda su vida y son verdaderamente merecedores del cariño y el apoyo que se les está ofreciendo. Como muchos de nuestros seres queridos nos han preguntado cómo pueden ayudar, decidimos abrir esta opción para quienes deseen contribuir.
