Our family house is gone :( What we thought would last forever is now buried in ashes.  Fast flowing lava rolled right up to the farm and the heat burned down our parents house.  It's been a rough week coming to terms with this especially since our only visual confirmation is from aerial footage.  We can't return to check on what's left of our beloved farm as lava has taken out all road access.  Until things cool down we are restricted to a distance that makes sence for safety reasons, but ahhhhh!! We all poured our hearts into the land, creating gardens and nurturing hundreds of tropical fruit trees that we had the pleasure of placing in the ground ourselves.  As far as we know the rest of the farm is still intact and we're praying hard that it stays that way!  The vegetation has been burned from the sulfuric gases, but knowing the jungle it will come back to life if the lava decides to not come closer.  Already a month has gone by since the lava burst out in our neighborhood..and there's no signs of it stopping.. We are waiting patiently for it to end as we adjust to this devastating twist in reality.   Our parents put in everything they had to build an everlasting base for their family to call home.  Right now it feels as if the carpet has been pulled out from underneath us.  In an attempt to help them recover, my sister and I have made this gofundme page.  Any money raised will go towards building them a new dwelling to live in! Hurray!
