Help us rebuild our home from the ashes! On December 30th, a devastating fire swept through our apartment, leaving behind destruction and despair. Our cherished memories, belongings, and the place we called home had been ravaged by flames.

On Dec 30th, I received a phone call from a neighbor stating that my apartment was on fire. I rushed to the scene where firefighters were working to put the fire out. After speaking with neighbors, I learned that my children’s father was the one responsible for the fire. This was due to a verbal altercation we had the previous day.

He decided to break into my apartment, destroy it, and then set it a blaze. Fortunately, my kids and I were not at home. He is currently incarcerated and I am left with my 3 kids (all under the age of 8) to piece our lives back together.

The fire destroyed majority everything. Clothes, furniture, Christmas toys, food, and more. Not only did he set the fire; he also destroyed everything in my home prior to the fire.

Unfortunately, I did not have renters insurance to cover personal property damages. I was able to work with my property manager to temporarily relocate to another unit. I am grateful we will soon have a roof over our heads but we will be moving into an empty unit left to start over.

We are in desperate need of resources as we have nothing! We're reaching out for support in restoring our lives and replacing what was lost.
