On Friday, May 16, 2025, a severe storm swept through this area, including a tornado that devastated a large area in Laurel and Pulaski counties just to the north and east of Burkesville, Kentucky. This storm flattened our Farmers Market tent and ruined most of the poles, causing at least $1500 in damage.

We are a nonprofit community-supported organization, and so in our time of need, we are hoping that the community will donate to help us get the replacement parts that we need to rebuild our market tent.
