My name is Stacy and my sister, Michelle, and I have created this fundraiser for our family’s childhood home in Montego Bay, Jamaica, which was severely damaged by Hurricane Melissa on October 28th 2025.

Though we do not currently live in Jamaica, this house is the heart of our history and foundation. Our brother, Kurt, still lives there and is facing the devastating aftermath. The hurricane caused significant structural damage to the roof and interior, leaving our home in an unlivable condition.

The Immediate Need

Kurt is currently managing the overwhelming cleanup and repair process alone. The financial burden is immense as the costs of materials and labor in the wake of the hurricane have skyrocketed.

Structural Restoration: Contributing to the high costs of materials and contractor labor needed to fully restore the severely damaged roof and interior sections of the home.

Replacing Necessities: Replacing vital items lost to water damage such as clothing, bedding, and essential furniture.

Urgent Clean-Up: Covering immediate costs for debris removal and professional cleanup to prevent further deterioration.
