Help Rebuild Our Family Home and Market

On Saturday, October 16th, my mom's home in Thailand caught fire from a malfunctioning refrigerator and was destroyed. Thankfully everyone (including the dog who usually sleeps in the market) is ok. Now we need to rebuild. Half of our home, including the family market that my mom built up by herself and relies on to support herself, needs to be rebuilt. She has poured her entire life savings into this market and has worked extremely hard to make it her legacy to leave my twin sister and I. This loss is devastating for her. The market is my mom's only source of income and a place where many people in the village come to get their supplies. Not only will your donations help my family, but they will also help out the entire village.

Early estimates are at $16,500 just to repair the home. We are also looking at another $7,500 to resupply the family Market. Our goal is to raise $25,000 as quickly as possible so that I can send it to my mom and she can rebuild our family home and reopen our market.

Since my husband and I cannot be there to help with the rebuilding, we wanted to do as much as possible from here to help and contribute. That is why we have started this fundraiser.
