Help us rebuild our 75ft Bridge to get home!

Thank you to all who contributed to helping us!!!  On November 21, 2020 we finally got our bridge rebuilt....we had to wait for 2 hurricanes and lots of rain storms to pass us to begin.

Our 75 foot Wooden Bridge has collapsed in one place.    The picture I posted  has temporary boards and a handrail added after the top boards were taken off to inspect damage.  This bridge has a 15 foot drop that crosses Cypress Bayou and the  water gets over the top of bridge 5-8 times a year- we cannot just have a culvert.  Where it broke,  is on the side of the embankment-which is why you see dirt.
The Corps built this bridge originally back in 1950's and City/Parish government used to maintain it but they will no longer fix Private bridges and haven't for quite a while.
My husband, George has been fixing/maintaining it since 2006 when we moved here but he is now disabled and cannot do this by himself.   It will require heavy equipment and huge beams, piers & running boards on top.  To completely replace the bridge it would cost over $80,000 so we are just trying to repair it.

We do not have the extra money to repair the bridge and hire someone to do the work.  This is the only access road to our homes..... unless it is bone dry and then we can go across miles of pasture, but it is rarely dry enough to do this.    We can no longer drive to our home.       This affects 3 families...
Myself and husband,  Ronda & George,
Our daughter, Kristin & her 11 year old son, Tyrin.
And our neighbors, Naomi and Pedro.

We only have Kristin's car on the house side and she drives each person 1/2 mile down our dirt road to the bridge, twice or more a day,  so we can walk across and get to our cars so that we can go to work etc.  Yes, the bridge is tilted and scary walking on it.

We would appreciate any help or funds that any of our friends are willing to donate/give.  It is very difficult asking for help but I don't know what else to do.
