My name is Michael Nashef, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping two of my best friends and colleagues, Elie and Jack, the owners of Olmaz Jewelers in the Chapel Hill area. Their store was completely devastated by the severe flooding that struck on July 6, 2025, causing extensive damage to both their business and their livelihood.
Elie and Jack have poured their hearts into Olmaz Jewelers, serving their community with honesty, care, and exceptional craftsmanship. After opening their doors in October 2019, they faced the immediate challenge of COVID-19 shutdowns. Over the past two years, they finally regained momentum and rebuilt their dream—only to now be hit with this unexpected disaster.
I’ve created this GoFundMe to support them as they begin the long and difficult road to recovery. While they do have insurance, it unfortunately won’t cover all the costs of rebuilding and restoring their store. That’s why I’m turning to our incredible jewelers-helping-jewelers community. Your donations, shares, and words of encouragement can truly make a difference in helping them get back on their feet.
Let’s come together and show Elie and Jack that they’re not alone. Your support and generosity mean the world. Thank you.
