Nyamtiro Mosque is a small village masjid in the Nyanza region of western Kenya, near the shores of Lake Victoria. For this rural community, it is the heart of their spiritual life a place where families pray together and children learn the Qur’an.

But the masjid is struggling. The building is deteriorating, the lights often go out, and the community cannot afford the repairs to keep it open. With Ramadan approaching, they fear they won’t have a functioning mosque for Taraweeh, Qur’an gatherings, or nightly prayers.
