Help my Mom and Sister rebuild after Hurricane Milton

My heart is broken for my mom, my sister, her wife, and their beautiful little ones, who have been devastated by the recent flooding caused by Hurricane Milton. Like so many, their home in Tampa, FL. has been stripped away in an instant, leaving them with nothing but debt, heartache, and uncertainty.

They are already facing an uphill battle, having incurred over $25,000 in out-of-pocket expenses due to high deductibles and the loss of essential equipment that wasn’t covered by insurance. To make matters worse, their insurance does not provide temporary housing, and they have been told they need to be out of their home for 6 to 10 months. Imagine the challenge of uprooting your family—especially with an infant and a toddler —during such a tumultuous time.

My mom and sister are two of the strongest, most resilient women I know. They’ve always been the ones to lend a helping hand, support their friends and family, and give back to the community. It breaks my heart to see them in a position where they need to ask for help, but the reality is that they cannot do this alone.

That’s why I am creating this GoFundMe. Every dollar will go directly to helping them find temporary housing, replace essential items, and start the long process of rebuilding their lives.
