Hi everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our parents Karl and Linda. On Friday April 26, their home was completely destroyed by a powerful tornado. They lost everything they owned, including a vehicle, sentimental items, and essential belongings.

Our parents are both hardworking and loving individuals who have always been there for their family and friends. Now, they find themselves in a dire situation, grappling with the emotional trauma of losing their home and facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

Their Story:

They had built their home in Elkhorn back in the 1990's, where they dreamed of raising us. It was more than just walls and a roof; it was a sanctuary where memories were woven into the very fabric of its existence. Our family gatherings, dinners, and holiday celebrations all took place within those walls. Even now, with our own families, we continued the tradition—spending cherished moments together under that roof. All six of their grandchildren loved going to their house, whether it was for a few hours or even to spend the night.

Miraculously, even though our parents were home during the tornado, they are both physically unharmed. The damage, however, left them with nothing but the clothes on their back.
