My name is Rain, and I recently moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area from Portland, full of hope and optimism for the future after a divorce.

However, my journey back home took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn when the U-Haul, containing all of my personal belongings, was stolen.

This theft has left me not only without my sister's ashes, my grandmother's last letters, but also unemployed and facing an uncertain future.

The items that were taken from me weren't just "things"; they represented years of hard work, memories, and sentimental value.

They included essential items like furniture, clothing, kitchenware, and personal mementos, all of which are now gone. Rebuilding from scratch is a daunting task, and I'm reaching out to the community for support during this challenging time.

I find myself in a difficult position with no income to rely on at the moment. The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go directly towards replacing the stolen items and helping me get back on my feet. Your support will make a significant difference in my life and help me regain my sense of stability and security.

How the Funds Will Be Used:

Replacing essential household items: Furniture, kitchen appliances, and bedding.

Replacing essential items for Andre: Food, toys, treats & medications

Rebuilding my wardrobe with clothing and personal items.

Covering initial rent and utility expenses so I can not be homeless.

Assisting with job search and transportation costs for interviews, job searching, job training.

Any surplus funds will be allocated to rebuilding my life, such as further job training or education.

**Unfortunately I didn’t have an active renters insurance as I lost my job recently and couldn’t afford to continue the coverage**
