On November 8th at 1am, tragedy struck when MsKurvyGirl Botanica, a beloved community shop founded by Cynthia Palton in 2014, was completely destroyed by fire.

For over a decade, Cynthia has poured her heart and soul into MsKurvyGirl Botanica. A safe haven where people came not only to shop for herbs, candles, and spiritual supplies, but to find comfort, healing, and connection. Her business became a family to many, offering her staff opportunities to grow and her customers a place to belong.

This devastating loss couldn’t have come at a worse time. Cynthia is still grieving the passing of her beloved mother in late October and now faces the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding her business from the ground up. Everything inside the shop, years of work, love, and history are now gone.

But we know Cynthia’s light and the spirit of MsKurvyGirl Botanica are far from gone. With the support of friends, family, and the community she’s uplifted for so long, we can help her rebuild.
