Morrow Early Childhood Development Center has quietly served the Morrow community since 1994. We were formally located in the Morrow Plaza and 3 years ago, we relocated the center to 5275 Morrow Cozaddale Rd., across from the Little Miami Junior high.

On the evening of Friday, July 18, Morrow Early Childhood Development Center suffered a devasting flood that entered inside the building. The current construction along Morrow Cozaddale Rd., we feel contributed to the rising water that flooded into our building. Drywall, baseboards, furniture, kitchen cabinets and rugs all need to be replaced due to the damage. We have already done some of the repairs, but there is still so much that needs to be repaired and replaced. The list of what still needs to be completed is daunting, to say the least. Unfortunately, none of the damage is covered under the existing insurance policy. This leaves us with a magnitude of costly repairs, as well as replacing what couldn’t be saved from the damage. A safe and healthy school environment is crucial for children to learn and thrive. Please help alleviate some of the stress students, staff and families are experiencing at this time.

This is heartbreaking for our staff, families and most of all the children we care for. We really need this wonderful community that we know and love to help support us in our time of need. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
