Help Rebuild Morgan and Jack's Bright Future

UPDATE: Some precursory work has been done in the house. They've been able to plug in some A/C to relieve them while they work. A full gut will be required, though. Morgan & Jack have been in the trenches each day, working until they're sweaty and filthy, with no restroom handy. Nothing in the house except a few clothing or personal items can be salvaged. They will be displaced for around one YEAR! They have had some amazing friends come from afar to help. They're so moved by the sense of community amongst neighbors they have seen in their area and the helping hands that have been given.

Many of you know that Morgan and Jack bought a beautiful home in St. Peterburg, FL just a few short months ago. They have quickly made it home, and are working hard in every way that young people beginning their lives together do.

Recent devastation to their home brought by Hurricane Helene has left them unsure if their home has been damaged beyond repair, or what steps will be needed. It's a long process making that determination.

Nearly every item in their home is unable to be salvaged, not to mention Jack's vehicle being totalled due to flooding.

While Morgan & Jack are figuring out next steps, we want to embrace them with all the help we can. They may be looking at rental housing while still paying their mortgage.

Their home is literally water logged from the inside out. Crumbling doors, soggy furniture, and backed up raw sewage are just the beginning of what they're dealing with. Pictures hardly capture it.
