None of this would be possible without our amazing team.

About a week ago, one of our beloved teammates and anchors of our leadership team, Mike Bates, experienced a devastating weather-related disaster. During a storm with 50+ mph winds, a 30-foot tree fell on his home—crushing it and many cherished memories inside. His house is currently uninhabitable, and this has become a tremendous set back, a significant financial burden, and an emotional challenge that will take time to recover from.

Mike—our head chef, menu coordinator, and patient roaster of our freshly roasted beans—is a vital part of the Ancestor family. We’re asking for any support you can offer to help Mike and his wonderful wife, Megan, get back on their feet. While they are both physically okay, they could truly use the strength and kindness of our community right now.
