Hello everyone, my name is Olevia and I am doing this fundraiser to help assist my sister Merlisa in Jamaica.

During the disastrous hurricane, our family home was destroyed along with everything in it. If our mother was still alive, the house would have been better prepared to withstand the hurricane. It’s never easy losing a mother, especially both parents. R.I.P to our dad as well.

I am doing this fundraiser for her because she is unable to work. There is no job and no source of income, no electricity, nor internet at this time. She is unable to make rent and cover other expenses (food, water, etc.) that’s now triple in cost due to the disaster.

She will have to move back to our family home, which is no more, so we are asking for this emergency assistance to help restore the house so she can move with her little family.

Also, with this help for restoration, it can one day serve as accommodation for someone if needs be for future scenarios. Our mother always opened her home to help others (strangers, friends, other families) and we would love to be able to keep that alive about her.
