Help Rebuild Merk Chemists - Mangiaracina Family

In the early morning hours of June 2, 2020, Merk Chemists, a pharmacy in Yonkers, was looted by vandals. Money and inventory, including medications, were stolen. Along with that, the glass front door was smashed in and needed to be replaced, and all of the windows had to be boarded up. Thankfully no one was hurt, but significant damage was done. 

Merk Chemists is owned by one of our Blind Brook Elementary School teachers, Mrs. Christina Mangiaracina, along with her husband Anthony. When I was in 5th grade, my friend and I were making  bracelets, selling them, and donating the money. Mrs. Mangiaracina kindly offered to sell the bracelets at her pharmacy. This helped us raise a lot of money. She helped me, and now I want to help her in return. Not only is Mrs. Mangiaracina a great teacher, but she has always been so caring towards all of her students. 

Merk Chemists has been family owned and operated for over 100 years and is the oldest pharmacy in Westchester. Please consider making a donation to help repair Mr. and Mrs. Mangiaracina's store. Any contributions will help!
