My dear friend, Marija Grujić, and her family recently suffered a tragedy that changed their lives in an instant. A fire broke out in a field only 150 meters from their horse farm, and within hours, everything they had built for generations was gone.

The flames destroyed the stables, machines, trailers, horse equipment, and all the feed supplies that were supposed to last for a whole year. Their hard work, their daily life, and their way of living turned into ashes.

But most importantly – all people and animals survived! All of the horses from the farm were saved, and that gives strength to keep moving forward.

Marija grew up with horses. They are not just part of her work – they are part of her family and her life. Her greatest wish is to stay at the farm, take care of her horses, and rebuild her home and future from the ashes. But she cannot do it alone.

• A transport trailer for the horses’ safety

• Basic farm machinery for daily work

The goal is to secure the minimum conditions for the horses and the family, while they slowly recover.
