Angella Beckford (daughter) and Laurel Beckford (grandson) are fundraising to help rebuild the home of our beloved grandmother and mother, Mama Birdie, age 82, who have been bed bound for 2 years, living with a carer that I supported fully. She lives in Williamsfield District Aberdeen P.O, St. Elizabeth in her house.
Her home suffered colossal and heartbreaking damage after Hurricane Melissa struck the parish of St.Elizabeth, Jamaica.
The roof was ripped apart, water poured through the house, and almost all her furniture and personal items were destroyed. The home she has cherished for decades is now exposed, unsafe, and unlivable.
Mama Birdie is the foundation of our family, full of love, wisdom, and strength. She has supported generations of us, and now it is our turn to support her in her greatest time of need.
We are raising £5,500 to help:
• Rebuild the entire roof
• Replace damaged furniture
• Repair interior flooding and structural issues
• Make her home safe and livable again
Every donation, no matter how small, will help restore safety, comfort, and dignity to Mama Birdie’s life.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to reach more people.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and generosity.
Your support means more than words can express. ❤️
