Help Rebuild Lucky’s Gym

 Hi, my name is Maytal Adi, owner of Lucky’s Gym.

Exactly one year ago during the heights of the pandemic when all gyms were forced closed , I decided to take a chance and open up the doors of my private garage gym to our local community, with my trusty sidekick Lucky (my goldendoodle) .

Over this past year I’ve had the pleasure of watching my clients of all ages progress, grow stronger and more resilient each day. What started off as a hobby - turned into a flourishing business within a couple of months.

exactly one year from when I opened the doors, hurricane Ida wiped out my business along with 90% of my equipment were damaged and submerged in 5 feet of water for hours. Our house was deemed uninhabitable, and therefore I am unable to run and operate the gym.

I am grateful for my families health and well being but I am finding myself now starting from scratch for my business. We were fortunate to have Flood and a home liability policy but it is unclear when or what will be covered. I am asking my community to help keep my small business alive so that I can maintain my source of income during these times so that I can replace necessary equipment and set up in a new location.
