I am reaching out to you during a heartbreaking time for my mother, Lucielle, who has recently faced the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. Her home in Nokomis Florida, which has always been a sanctuary filled with cherished memories, has experienced extensive water damage due to the storm surge.

Sadly, her home was uninsured because of an older roof that insurance would not cover. As a widow who lost my father suddenly three years ago, this situation has left her feeling overwhelmed and devastated. Not only has she lost many of her belongings, but she is now faced with the daunting task of completely renovating her home to restore it to a safe and livable condition.

My mom is one of the sweetest and most welcoming people you could ever meet. She has always opened her heart and home to others, providing warmth, kindness, and support to anyone in need. As a mother, she has been a pillar of strength for our family, nurturing us with love and compassion after our loss.
