Help rebuild Logan’s life after tragic housefire
Yesterday at approximately 8:45 AM, just minutes after leaving for school, Logan’s bedroom was engulfed in flames. Within 7 minutes his bedroom was completely destroyed. Everything that he owned was gone. It was an electrical fire and the first thing that caught fire was his bed. We are so lucky that he had just left for school! If it had of happened even 15 minutes before he would have been trapped in his room.
Logan is a 17 year old student at Simonds High School who loved video games, computers (anything to do with technology) skateboarding, swimming, snowboarding, boxing and surfing.
He is a kind, compassionate boy who has personally volunteered in the community for others in need.
His 18th birthday is coming in 8 days, February 22nd and he has to start from scratch. He has been very emotionally impacted by this disaster and is already thinking about the priceless family collectables that he will never be able to replace. All I can try to do is reassure him that we will find a way to replace the physical things.
The entire house is currently uninhabitable and at this point we are not sure if that is temporary or permanent. Primarily we are looking for help to replace Logan’s clothing and important belongs. But any extra funds will also help the rest of the family replace smoke and fire damaged clothing and furniture as well as food and assistance with temporary lodging. Logan’s mother also works from a home office which is also inaccessible at this time.
