Help Rebuild Kadim Vintage Store
—
On Friday, March 21, 2025, a devastating fire broke out in Kumasi’s Central Business District, Adum, leaving many business owners with unimaginable losses. Our hearts are heavy as we witness the impact of this tragedy on hardworking individuals and thriving local businesses.
Among those affected is Kadim Vintage Store, a beloved thrift shop that has been more than just a retail space—it has been the backbone of Kejetia Boys, an initiative co-founded by Omar, Karim, and Ocansey. This initiative has fostered a vibrant creative community in Kumasi, offering a platform for young and independent talents to grow through consistent events such as Bars Open Mic, Thrifting & Pop-Up Sales, and Art Exhibitions.
For years, Kadim Vintage Store has been the main source of funding for these initiatives, ensuring that artists, musicians, and creatives have a space to showcase their work, connect, and thrive. With the shop now lost to the fire, the foundation that supports this community has been deeply shaken.
We are reaching out for support to rebuild Kadim Vintage Store and, in turn, keep the creative heartbeat of Kumasi alive. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us restore what was lost and ensure that this space continues to uplift the next generation of creatives.
Your generosity will not just rebuild a store—it will restore hope, opportunity, and a place where dreams take shape.
