Hello everyone, my name is Shannette Davis. I was born and raised in Jamaica, and I now reside in Texas — but my heart remains deeply connected to my home island and the people there.

Recently, Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica with devastating force, leaving countless families homeless, displaced, and struggling to access food, clean water, and shelter. Many communities are still without electricity, and recovery resources are limited. I am coordinating directly with family members and trusted local contacts in Jamaica who are helping identify the families most in need and ensuring donations are used responsibly and transparently.

Together, we can help restore hope and stability for families who’ve lost everything.
